(Prof. A. Haralambous, English Language & Literature at LII) As part of the English language & Literature Course for Year 2B L.I.I, I’m ever so proud as their English teacher to announce that a large number of students in the class have worked ‘really hard’ over the past weeks, and have finally presented their pieces of ‘Creative Writing’ that shall be shortly handed in to the above U.K. based ‘Writing Competition’ organizers . The Competition is usually offered to UK school pupils, but on this particular occasion, the organizers have kindly offered our year 2B L.I.I. pupils the possibility to participate; due to their ‘willingness’ and ‘enthusiam.
The writing competition has been designed to celebrate new writing at ‘all levels’ of English Language. The mere fact that our pupils have participated in this ‘two thousand’ word challenge, must surely be considered honourable, exciting ,and rewarding for these ‘creative young minds’, who have ( with patience and dedication ) put pen to paper, and fingers to keyboards, and have let their creativity flow in the English Language !
The judges who shall be reading the entries for this year’s ‘English Creative Writing’ Competition are: Mimi Khalvati, David Constantine, and Jacqueline Gabbitas.
Well done 2B L.I.I. for participating.
